AllPeers—Next great blogging tool or vaporware?

AllPeers, a UK based company, will soon release a peer-to-peer extension tool for Firefox. "AllPeers is a free extension which combines the strength of Firefox and the efficiency of BitTorrent to transform your favorite browser into a media sharing powerhouse," states the AllPeers Web site. Do you think the new AllPeers Firefox tool will drive Microsoft to produce similar extensions to IE--or will peer-to-peer file sharing damage the open source browser's reputation and give Microsoft another advantage?

This is something only time will give us the answer to, but my $$$ are still on Microsoft.
